"I just wanted to give some feedback. I have attended annual CPR events, conducted by Simon Gould, as a requirement for my role as a practice nurse immuniser. Last week, whilst out walking my dog, I resuscitated a gentlemen who had gone into cardiac arrest whilst driving his car. His car gently came to a stop after hitting a parked car. We got him out and I started compressions, which continued for probably 15 mins until the ambulance arrived. The paramedics ‘shocked ‘ him twice and got him back into sinus rhythm. He was taken to ICU. I received a phone call from his son last night to say that his father was expected to make a full recovery. Thank you Simon. All of your training came into play automatically and I was able to care for this man with a good degree of confidence.
